The Partnership has come together to champion the economic development and regeneration of Tyne and Wear. We influence, co-ordinate and, where possible, integrate and direct, economic development and regeneration activities.
We are reviewing our Economic Strategy, which outlines the priorities for Tyneside and Wearside. The Partnership is committed to creating jobs, nurturing business, and improving skills.

By 2023 we want to be one of Europe’s fastest growing Metropolitan areas driving the economic and cultural life of the North East. We would like everyone in Tyne and Wear to share this vision.
